New Entrants Capital Grants Scheme
The New Entrants Capital Grants Scheme has been extremely popular since it was introduced in 2015 and has injected millions of pounds into the Scottish rural economy, helping new entrant farmers get a foothold in the industry.
However, demand for this scheme has outweighed the available funding and the 2014-2020 SRDP allocation of £8m is currently fully committed.
There are no current plans to re-open this scheme, however, this may change in the future should any additional funds become available across the SRDP.
