Date published: 30 March, 2015

Following initial works to restore heather in areas which have become dominated by Molinia (purple moor grass) follow-up treatment may be required to tackle Molinia re-growth where it is widespread enough to threaten the re-establishment of the heather.

Follow-up control may be required in the first, second or subsequent years after the initial heather restoration work.

You can only apply for one follow-up treatment on any area.

Rough grazing land, where you have already undertaken heather restoration, is eligible.
