Payments process

Date published: 1 January, 2015

Your payments will be paid in to your bank account. We can't send your payments to an account that doesn't belong to you.

You can help us to pay you on time by keeping your bank details up to date.

If you have not given us your bank details or you wish to change them, you can do this online by registering and logging in to Rural Payments and Services.

You can also do this by completing our Register your Bank Details Form – Sterling, which should be sent to your local area office to be processed.

If you have any problems in completing this form, please get in touch with your area office.

For Direct Payments only, you can opt to be paid in euros rather than sterling when you complete your Single Application Form.

If you have not previously been paid in euros you will need to complete the Register Bank Details Form - Euros

You need to return this to the Direct Payments Team and we will use these details until you inform us differently.

You can take this decision each year but you need to tell us by 9 June at the latest, otherwise you will be tied to your existing choice (euros or sterling) until the following year.

For more information, please contact your local area office.
