CAP payments
Given the progress with payments and the extremely small amount of cases that remain to be paid, this latest update (20 October) will conclude the weekly reporting on 2015 payments.

[1] This is an estimate of the total number of eligible BPS claims. They are still being finalised and therefore this figure is expected to change over time. All the percentage of payments paid noted within the report are a percentage of this figure.
[2] Includes all payments that have been submitted into the banking system. The majority will have arrived in customers’ accounts but some may still be working their way through the banking system.
[3] All other known eligible farmers were offered a nationally-funded loan to the approximate value of their first instalment. This was paid automatically unless the farmer opted out

Nationally funded schemes
The below schemes are nationally funded and payments will be deducted from CAP payments when paid.

Payments, valued at almost £91 million, have been initiated to over 5,200 farm businesses in Scotland.
The number of National BPS payments may be lower than the total number of National BPS offers due to farmers choosing to opt out or already having received their first BPS payment.
National LFASS support scheme | |

Total number of payments | 11,056 payments totaling £57.1m |
The National LFASS Scheme provides cash support to farming businesses in Scotland’s most remote and fragile areas while EU LFASS payments are being processed.
